Pastor Jarvis F. Wright, Sr.

Jarvis F. Wright, Sr. is a man of profound learning and academic accomplishment. He embarked on his educational voyage at Palatka High School, graduating in 2007. His relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to St. Johns River State College, where he graduated in 2011, and subsequently, he attained a degree from St. Leo University in 2013. The pinnacle of his educational achievements came in 2022 when he was conferred with a Master's Degree in Marriage Counseling & Family Therapy from Liberty University.

Jarvis is an indispensable asset to St. Johns River State College, where he currently serves as a Student Life Skills Instructor. This role allows him to impart valuable life skills and provide mentorship to students—a responsibility he wholeheartedly embraces, driven by his unwavering passion for education and mentorship.

A remarkable spiritual journey began early in Jarvis's life when he became a licensed minister just one week before his 16th birthday. His spiritual dedication and growth were evident, leading to his ordination as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ at the tender age of 19. On January 25, 2014, he received the divine call to the Pastoral Ministry, taking up the role of Pastor at New Saint Paul Church in Seville, FL. Presently, he serves as an Associate Pastor at Mt. Tabor First Baptist Church, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the spiritual well-being of his community.

Beyond his pastoral and educational roles, Jarvis finds profound joy in his family life. He is married to Karla Flagg-Wright, and together, they proudly parent two wonderful children, Jayla and Jarvis II.

In addition to his numerous accomplishments, Jarvis is a published author, with works including "Spiritual Healing to Spiritual Health," "Look at Me Daddy," and "I See You Daddy." His words inspire and uplift, touching the lives of many.

He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for Putnam Academy of Arts & Science and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Palatka.
